The Proposal

I Planned for long to throw you off guard
Trying not to reveal it long and hard
I had been waiting for that day for a while

I searched everywhere to get the perfect ring

I reharsed my lines not twice but thrice
everytime I felt they could be better, more nice
I wrote them down, I talked in my sleep
I tried to load them with praises in heap
And I wanted them to sound deep

I rummaged the town for the best suit ever
For something that would show me as ‘Handsome Forever’
Neither could I get one not get another to borrow
Let us not talk about that tale of sorrow

So the D-Day arrived, sunny and bright
and there we were, together that lovely night
Candles so dim, and the smoky red wine
and the beautiful you in front of me, all divine.

I couldn’t feel my knees when i raised the toast
All nerves, blabbering and splurging, I was not the perfect host
A hundred times faster i felt my heart beat
Boy. For sure I was feeling the heat.

One touch of your fingers put them all away
You smiled and it was so full of mirth and gay
You hair gently twitched and put my heart at bay
I went down my knees, looked into your eyes and told you all I wanted to say

The Voices and the Noise

How would you visualise a thought ? And how would you define something called as 'thought' quantitatively in the first place ? One can only speculate the exact definition of thought as something that the dictionary defines, or something that the mind thinks of, or a phenomenon that occurs to the mind when it is in the state of rest.Imagine a shooting star racing through the pitch dark night sky, or imagine a howl of the street dog on a lonely winter night street, or a wave of water on the still sand on the beach. Those,metamorphically, for me, are thoughts. Something that strikes us when we are into nothing, and something that brings us to nothing when we are into something !

Ok. So now how would you conceptualize something called, an echo of thought. Echoes come from voices, and the voices need not necessarily be from a same head. We can have a number of thoughts that arise from different organisms at the same time all across the world. So if you can visualise a thought as something of a wires, such wires from different organisms from different parts of the universe in different forms constitutes a network for that thought. And just as a mobile phone network, calls keep connecting and disconnecting to the network. And now you can visualise this network as a part of a system, where in we have different kinds of thoughts forming a virtual network from the membranes of different organisms across the globe.

What makes these voices a noise ? Thoughts, in terms of voices in the head, or strings of untold memories, form this virtual network around us, and engulf each and every organism into the system. And when an organism, or a human, or any living being for that matter, gets stuck in a single voice at any point of time, it leads to a situation of pipelining of the thought. As we know, many people do not share across a thought, and thereby it justs sits there inside. Because of this, the capacity of the network for that particular thought, raises. This leads to a situation where in different people, though think the same at different points of time, cannot or may not have the thought process conculde into an emotion. And these unfinished thoughts that surface the network, constitute the noise.

And this noise, as you can read takes the form or words or deeds or actions, that define the moments of living or dead for any organism. Because as you all might have realised by now, Life is nothing but a series of connections of the mind between different thoughts, and taking the correct emotion out of the interconnection between these thought networks.

It is up to you to decide, whether you want to tap the right energy in the system, or whether you are satisfied enough by tapping the noise, that cannot echo anything in the brain, but an unfinished emotion.

Why are MTV folks dying to promote twitter? :S 2 out of 5 min of Wassup.. VJ Bani keeps promoting

twitter.. "he joined this.. he says this.. i followed him".. baah! c'mon! just bcoz its the easy way to

pick the lives and times of celebrities and gossip, you don't need to go on talk about it. It reminds

me how MTV used orkut community to promote one of it shows way ago and its nowhere now..

Read current trends! India has caught up with micro blogging :D All thanks to the portability quotient. now you can update your state-of-affairs from anywhere in your mobile and the entire world will know.! thankfully something like AdSense is not introduced ! That's a step short for people to hook on, 24 x 7.

busy lives.. or whatever..

These days.. I find all running with their lives.. myself too! so much so busy that I don't have time to look around that I am not in touch without almost all my friends except the ones I meet in office... so much that I need to introspect , plan and meet and make my day special... almost lost the way of enjoying simple pleasures in life that I often feel lonely. inevitable anyway!

music has become a good companion. books too! & websites.. people communication is on wane! now I curse when my phone rings! and I wonder if I talk at least for an hour properly to my parents at home..

hmm.. usual ranting..

How does it work ??

When less is more :
Create Buzz - a lot of buzz - role out the product in limited numbers - tadaaa!! People go mad about your product.

TATA DOCOMO - They went all out with their promotions, painted the town, pulse calling, introduced radical plans, motivated people to follow them on twitter. When they had to release sim cards, put them on limited stock so that the price shoots up, creating more buzz and talk about the whole thing..

Google Wave - Roll out only 1 lakh invites, limited preview .. people dying for invitations, this becomes the trending topic for weeks ..

This is where it goes all wrong.. All hyped products IMHO(In My Honest Opinion) fail.. miserably cos they fail to meet the expectations they set.. even if they do, you just gave what you promised .. what's the big deal ..

Look at it this way .. as long as its not a one time product .. like life insurance .. you are doing no good to yourself by disappointing them.

Why the hell did I say all this??
Personal life .. most relationships are long term (infact it would be inappropriate to call them relationship if it was not long term).. so give them lesser expectations and deliver more .. I think it works :)

I really have no idea what I just blogged about .. who cares .. its what blogs are for ..

hmm...

I usually wonder how can people give opinion on anything, anywhere at any time! Even when you don't need one, you'll have folks bubbling with crap ideas and suggestions. Essentially you'll hate such stuff, if you're a dreamer! Imagine you get a question saying where do you see your career heading and you give an nonchalant "I don't know!" :P

Anyway, we should never blame anyone else for our shortcomings! But my belief is that we should not allow others to let down our self-esteem too! afterall, Live life king size! ;) no matter what!
